The BRK Model SMI105-AC is an AC-powered smoke alarm with a 10-year, factory-locked battery backup, providing continuous protection even during power outages. This unit utilizes a dual ionization sensing chamber for advanced smoke protection, aiming to provide an earlier warning with fewer nuisance alarms.

It features a latching alarm indicator to visually identify the unit that initiated an alarm or has a low battery, and it can be interconnected with up to 18 alarms (a maximum of 12 smoke alarms) from First Alert and BRK. The alarm is equipped with a solid-state piezo horn rated at 85dB at 10 ft , and an easy-access test/silence button. The unit is certified to UL217 standards.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 1 year of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
